Christopher Grosso has been a cornerstone of Kershner, Grosso & Co. since 1989. As the Senior Portfolio Manager, Chris oversees equity and fixed income research, selection, and trading for client accounts, demonstrating a deep commitment to optimizing investment strategies. Additionally, he serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards with precision and diligence. His leadership and financial expertise have been pivotal in shaping the firm’s success and reputation.
A proud graduate of Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Chris’s academic journey also ignited a passion for geology, an interest that continues to inform his independent stock research, adding a unique perspective to his investment strategies. His professional influence extends beyond his role at the firm. Since 2003, he has played a pivotal role on the Board of Directors and serves as the Audit Committee Chair for publicly traded International Isotopes, showcasing his expertise in corporate governance. Furthermore, Chris’s philanthropic spirit shines through his involvement on the Board of the Hawley Foundation for Children, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children in need across Saratoga County.
Beyond his professional and charitable commitments, Chris cherishes his role as a devoted father and husband. He, his wife, and their two adult children share a passion for horses, dedicating cherished moments to their farm in Saratoga County. An avid rower, Chris is a beloved member of the Saratoga Rowing Association community. Outside of work, you can almost always find Chris surrounded by nature.
